2021, a record breaking year for SaaS PE deals

As you already know, at Bloom VP, we look to acquire outstanding SaaS companies, and according to recent data 2021 is shaping up to be a big year for SaaS private equity deals. 🔥🔥

Earlier this month, Protocol and Pitchbook released some staggering data on enterprise tech deals in 2021:

• Private equity firms have poured $16.1 billion into the sector over 105 deals. Up from $13.2 billion in 2020.

• 2021 is also outpacing 2019; that year, the industry invested $20.4 billion in the sector over 126 deals.

• The top five most active firms are HG Capital, Vista Equity Partners, Providence Equity Partners, ABRY Partners and TA Associates Management.
